Every equine practitioner appreciates the delicate nature of the equine gut. Problems related to the small intestine and large intestine are well understood and routinely treated. What may be surprising is how often the stomach is affected, specifically the incidence of gastric ulcers is extremely high; particularly in performance horses. Different studies (post mortem and gastro endoscope studies) show that 75-89% of horses in active training have gastric ulcers. Intense exercise increases the production of gastric acid even more in a way that the squamous mucosa of the stomach gets thoroughly bathed in acid. Horses with gastric ulcers may show symptoms like a drop in performance, sour attitude, poor hair conditions, grinding teeth, picky eater and weight loss. Treatment of ulcers involves either inhibiting gastric secretion, neutralising the acid produced or protect the squamous mucus from exposure to acid. Cavalor Gastro Aid helps to neutralise the acid in the stomach and stimulates regeneration. It also protects the stomach mucus on different levels using various nutritional approaches (as most Cavalor products do).
Days 1 to 5: 2 tubes per day
Days 6 to 10: 1 tube per day

You are entitled to return your item within 30 days of the purchase date for a full refund or exchange. The item must be unused, clean and have all original packaging with labels attached.
Made to measure & bespoke items are non-refundable unless faulty.
To return an item for an exchange or refund please complete the returns slip included with your purchase. If a refund is requested, once the item is returned, a refund will be made to the card used to make the purchase. We will process your return and you will receive a refund within 7 days. Additional postage paid on a purchase for express delivery will not be refunded. If an exchange is preferred, and the new item costs less, the difference will be refunded to the original card which made the purchase. If the new item costs more, we will require payment before it can be dispatched.
