The VIP (Very Important Pad) Original Gel Pad is the ultimate impact and pressure relieving saddle pad for horses.
Technically "The VIP" is not a gel; the VIP pad is made from Akton Polymer, a renowned viscoelastic polymer that has been rigorously tested worldwide in 40 years of scientific research. It is universally trusted in human clinical and sporting settings for its superior pressure relieving, impact and sheer force reducing qualities. The VIP is designed to absorb shock as opposed to other products which compress and rebound. The VIP has a very high tensile strength; on a molecular level the raw material looks like honeycomb, however what it actually means is that under pressure regardless of what forces are applied to it, the product keeps a uniform thickness. This superior textured structure gives high tensile strength, the key to maintaining shape under extreme and prolonged compression. The bobbles increase the pad surface area therefore alleviating pressure points and evenly distributing weight.
The pad is soft, flexible and seamless with no trims to cause pressure; it moulds to your horses back like a low profile second skin. The non stick properties of the pad mean it does not cause friction or pluck hair when removed. The pad is only 8mm thick so does not alter your saddle fit and the thin film gullet avoids any pressure being added to the horses spin.
The VIP Original Pad can be used either directly on the horses back or between the saddle cloth and saddle with the bobbles facing down.
Hypoallergenic, easily cleanable and does not support bacterial growth.
Please store you VIP pad flat, or folded down the length of the spine, or rolled up. Store in a dry place.
Please keep your VIP away from direct heat sources eg. radiators, heating pipes etc. DO NOT store in a hot car in warmer months.
Treat your VIP like precious clothing, not crushed or stored with any weight on top of it.
The VIP Original Pad is available in one size to fit 17" to 18.5" saddles.

Orders will be sent using either Royal Mail 24/48 or DPD (depending on the delivery address). Please allow 3-5 days for delivery and some orders may require a signature.

EU + Worldwide Shipping
Delivery to addresses outside of the UK may take up to 10 working days.
Deliveries outside of the EU maybe subject to import and custom taxes as well as any other local taxes. These will have to be paid before the parcel is released for delivery. Please contact your local customs office for advice on potential costs when importing goods.

You are entitled to return your item within 30 days of the purchase date for a full refund or exchange. The item must be unused, clean and have all original packaging with labels attached.
Made to measure & bespoke items are non-refundable unless faulty.
To return an item for an exchange or refund please complete the returns slip included with your purchase. If a refund is requested, once the item is returned, a refund will be made to the card used to make the purchase. We will process your return and you will receive a refund within 7 days. Additional postage paid on a purchase for express delivery will not be refunded. If an exchange is preferred, and the new item costs less, the difference will be refunded to the original card which made the purchase. If the new item costs more, we will require payment before it can be dispatched.

If an item is damaged in transit please do not accept delivery, or if this is not possible, please return immediately. Do not use an item if it is damaged on delivery. We will require the damaged item to be returned for inspection before an exchange or refund can be issued. All return postage costs will be reimbursed if the item is damaged on arrival.
